This
is an invaluable paternity test for many people as they may not realize
they still have a viable testing option when an alleged
father is deceased.
With grandparent paternity testing you
would have to presume that the deceased alleged father's
parents are in fact his true biological parents. The deceased
inherited all of his DNA from these two individuals. In
these cases, the Paragon Genetic laboratory performs a grandparentage test,
which determines whether the alleged paternal grandparents
are excluded.
Maternal
grandparents may also be tested to determine grandparentage
in cases of deceased mother.
