Technologic advances involving DNA tests are changing the way we
approach diagnosis and management of many chronic diseases
which, in the old days were diagnosed as being of an "unknown
origin". It is estimated that up to 20% of all patients
seeking medical care are thought to be suffering from chronic
illnesses that are provoked or associated with many viral
or bacterial infections.
Our laboratory has developed different diagnosis
tests for diverse syndromes such as syndrome of chronic
fatigue, chronic depression. We are already working on the syndrome
of irritable bowel. Some venereal diseases, are very common
and very hard to trace, especially after treatment like vaginal
Candida are now easily diagnosed by means of DNA detection
from the bacteria itself.
This is the fundamental difference and advantage
to the traditional microbiology techniques.
There is an abundant amount of literature indicating
that infections are associated with chronic illnesses in
a number of different ways. A lot of patients suffer from
complex overlapping signs and symptoms which usually last
for years and are initially provoked by flu-like illnesses.
Due to the lack of definitive clinical tests,
many chronic illnesses were and are thought to be auto-immune
complexes or psychosomatic in nature. Some of these include
Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Asthma, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,
Irritable Bladder Disease, Inflammatory and Irritation Bowel
Diseases, Fibromyalagia Syndrome, Chronic Prostatitis and
Coronary Heart Disease, to name a few.
Today, there are very few
laboratories offering such technologically advanced DNA
tests. DNA tests are sensitive tools, capable of detecting
even a few pathogens in a patients blood. Before or after
the treatment, DNA is the perfect controlling tool after
treatment.
Collaborative research and
stat analysis over 2 years carried on by Paragon Genetics
found that out 120 patients who had a chronic disease 90%
were found with the presence of "floating
infectious agents" sucha as Mycoplasma, Candida, Chlamydia,
Aspergillus as well as other viruses.
It is important to note
that out of 5 patients with Chlamydia species, 3 were found
suffering from Chlamydia psittaci ( a bird carrying bacteria).
Most of the patients were treated and were able to report
that after receiving the appropriate treatment, their conditions
significantly improved and they felt cured.
Talk to your physician
about DNA tests if you feel you haven't been given a clear
explanation as to what chronic ailments you are suffering
from. These tests are extremely accurate and affordable
and can help you to finally return to your normal active
life. Let the new developments of science be at your service
with Paragon Genetics.
