DNA home paternity testing for curiosity purposes as well as for legal paternity matters.
We offer a home paternity test kit complete with buccal swabs. The inside of the mouth of the child is swabbed for skin cells, and the same is done with the possible
father. When these samples are sent back to our laboratory, we can determine within 5-10 business days if the alleged father is the biological father or not.
Alternatively, the paternity test can be performed on blood, chewing gum, licked stamps, hair samples (with roots intact), sperm and other biological specimens. There is no
difference in DNA taken from cheek cells, hair follicles, or blood. You will get the same test results.
The DNA home paternity testing method used by Paragon Genetics is the most powerful in the industry. We test to a probability of 99.99% or
higher in the case of inclusions and 100% in the case of exclusions.
For customers wishing to undergo a paternity test for legal purposes, our laboratory takes charge of coordinating appointments, supplying a chain-of-custody form, and
following up with the proper documentation. A paternity test customer would then be asked to present several pieces of photo ID at their arranged appointments.
