PARAGON GENETICS CASE STUDIES
In regards to our laboratory's paternity testing, the stories are many, but here is one that is of interest.

Paragon Genetics laboratory received a visit one day from a man requesting our help in finding out if a young girl in his life was indeed his daughter or not. He presented the laboratory with his identification and a buccal swab. Plus samples of hair and genetic material from the young girl in question were also submitted to our laboratory.

A regular DNA paternity test was done in our lab on the alleged father and child's samples. Our results for the case were determined beyond a shadow of a doubt, within 5 business days, that the young girl was indeed his daughter and we informed him of the results by phone call. He was quite emotional on the phone and very happy with the results Paragon Genetics had provided.

The man turned up a few days later especially to thank the laboratory staff of Paragon Genetics in person for their help. For a long time he had his suspicions but did not know where to turn or who to ask for help, not until he came across Paragon Genetics.

A month later, he turned up again asking us to help him legally determine these results for an upcoming court case. Paragon Genetics arranged for new samples to be tested again at our laboratory from the alleged father and suspected daughter but this time with chain-of-custody protocols in effect. The proper affidavits were signed and the case was successfully presented in court at a later date, lending much to our clients happiness.
